The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to Respondent No.2- Ld. District and Sessions Judge, Jalandhar to take steps to trace the judicial file of Civil Suit No. 51758 of 2013 titled "Sharanjit Singh and Ors. vs Balkar Singh & Ors." He is further seeking direction to respondents to reconstruct the said file based on available records. 2.

As per pleadings, petitioner claims that Civil Suit No. 51758 of 2013 titled "Sharanjit Singh & Ors. vs Balkar Singh & Ors." was decided on 10.03.2015 by Ld. Civil Judge (JD) Jalandhar. He applied for the certified copies on 15.01.2025 by way of receipt No. 21055 but could not get the copies. He preferred application (CRM-1160-2025) before Ld. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalandhar seeking direction to supply certified DEEPAK BISSYAN 2026.05.29 17:31 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP-18410-2026 -2copies which was disposed of vide order dated 01.04.2025 observing that matter has already been intimated to Ld. District & Sessions Judge, thus, no further proceedings are required. Continuous failure in obtaining the certified copies propelled him to approach Ld. District Judge, Jalandhar seeking direction to trace the judicial file and supply the same. Ld. Civil Judge (Junior Division)-NRI Jalandhar heard the same and vide order dated 17.04.2026 disposed of the matter by holding that file has not been consigned to the record room and a separate inquiry regarding the same is already in process, thus, no further proceedings are required. 3.

From the perusal of aforestated facts, it is evident that matter is already pending before District Judge as well as Civil Judge (Junior Division)-NRI Jalandhar. There seems no reason to issue further directions.
