The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to release payment with respect to work carried out by him for the respondent along with interest.

Learned State counsel submits that competent authority would consider petitioner's claim and if any admitted liability is found, it would be discharged within 6 months from today.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has to solemnize marriage of his sister, thus, is in urgent need of funds. He further submits that respondent may be subjected to interest @ 9% per annum. 4.

In the wake of statement of both sides, the petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondents to release 30% of the admitted liability within 3 months from today and remaining within 6 months from today. If payment is not released within aforesaid period, the respondent would be liable to pay interest @ 9% from the expiry of said period. The petitioner is at liberty to approach appropriate authority qua disputed amount, if any.
