RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioner has approached this Court praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.1 to 3- department to hold a free, fair and impartial enquiry into the complaint, Annexure P-1 and take action against respondent No.4, against whom serious allegations regarding embezzlement and misappropriation of Panchayat fund have been pending and for which representations, dated 08.01.2018 and 20.07.2018, Annexures P-2 and P-3, have also been submitted by the petitioner. It is further prayed to direct the respondent-department to get the enquiry conducted into the matter, as earliest, and to take appropriate action in regard to allegations in the matter including taking decision on the representation/complaint submitted by the petitioner in a time bound manner.

The State has filed its response, dated 15.09.2023, today in Court, which is taken on record and submitted that action on the complaint MEENU 2023.09.21 09:42 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
