(Oral) At the very outset of the arguments, it has emerged that in compliance of order dated September 18, 2017, the benefit claimed through instant petition stands released to the petitioners except petitioners No.8, 19, 36, 54 and 59, who have been taken away by the nature during the pendency of instant petition.

Though, learned counsel for the petitioners vide order dated September 18, 2017 was advised to ask the legal heirs of the aforesaid petitioners/retirees to approach the Director, Department of Agricultural, Punjab as early as possible and complete all the formalities but the learned counsel for the petitioners has shown inability to convey the aforesaid order. Otherwise also, it has been submitted by him that none of the legal heirs of the aforesaid Sonika 2018.03.16 10:26 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
CWP No.6382 OF 2014 --2-- petitioners has approached him to know about the fate of the instant petition. 3.
Since, the legal heirs of the aforesaid petitioner are not coming forward for impleading them as legal heirs, no further action in the matter is required to be taken. Thus, the Court is left with no other option except to dispose of the instant petition by giving liberty to the legal heirs of the aforesaid petitioners/retirees that if they feel so desired to get the benefits, which have been claimed by their predecessor through this petition, they may approach the Director, Department of Agricultural, Punjab but within a reasonable period and on completion of necessary formalities by them, the department shall release the necessary benefits.
