This order shall dispose of the aforesaid two petitions filed on behalf of petitioners Vikas @ Kimmat and Amit Mor @ Meeta seeking grant of regular bail in respect of a case registered vide FIR No.156 dated 23.5.2020 at Police Station Chandimandir, District Panchkula under Sections 148, 149, 188, 323, 379-B, 452 and 506 of Indian Penal Code, wherein offences under Sections 201 and 411 IPC were added later on.

Learned counsel for the petitioner(s) submit that the matter has been amicably resolved amongst the parties and a petition for quashing of FIR on the basis of compromise has already been filed wherein directions have been issued to the parties to get their statements recorded before the Illaqa Magistrate. Learned counsel, in this regard, have drawn the attention of this Court to the statement of complainant recorded on 10.11.2020 before the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge, wherein he has categorically stated that the matter stands compromise amongst the parties. 3.
Learned counsel for the complainant Mr. Abhishek Singh, Advocate, who has also joined the video conferencing has endorsed the fact that the parties have since compromised.

Opposing the petition, learned State counsel has submitted that he does not have any direct information regarding compromise. He has, however, informed that the petitioners as on date have been behind bars since the last more than 71⁄2 months.

Having regard to the aforestated factum of compromise and also the custody of the petitioners, further detention of the petitioners will not serve any
( 3 ) CRM-M-38287-2020 (O&M) & useful purpose. The petitions, as such, are accepted and the petitioners are ordered to be released on regular bail on their furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of learned Trial Court/Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate concerned.
