***** TEJINDER SINGH DHINDSA J.(Oral) Petitioners have appeared in person and have been heard. As per pleadings on record, petitioner No.1 Geeta Devi was married to respondent No.7 on 21.11.2007 and out of the wedlock two male children were born.

Age of petitioner No.1 is stated to be more than 25 years. She submits that respondent No.7 is a drug addict and since the date of marriage he has mal-treated and physically abused her. Under such circumstances petitioner No.1 is stated to have left her matrimonial home. She is not even being accepted at her parental home. She is now staying in the company of petitioner No.2 who is also more than 25 years old. Writ of mandamus is sought for issuance of directions to official respondents No.1 to 3 to take necessary steps for protection of life and liberty of the petitioners by voicing an apprehension and threat to the same at the hands of private respondents No.4 to 7. Without even ascertaining the correctness of the averments made in the petition and without even commenting on the SHWETA 2019.08.16 16:27 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP No. 21506 of 2019 relationship/liaison between the petitioners herein, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by granting liberty to the petitioners to approach respondent No.3 as regards their threat perception. In the eventuality of any such application being preferred, the SHO, PS Bahin, District Palwal, would be obligated to look into the matter and to thereafter take steps as he made deem fit and as warranted in accordance with law.
