The instant petition was filed on 23.07.2024, however, a perusal of the orders reveal that either there had been no representation on behalf of the petitioner or a request for adjournment had been made by learned counsel for the petitioner.

It is, thus, evident that the case is being adjourned time and again and the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter any further.

Even Hon'ble the Supreme Court on 19.11.2024 in Nilesh Dnyaneshwar Desale Versus The State of Maharashtra: SLP (Criminal) Diary No.22040/2024 deprecated the practice of adjournments and dismissed the case for want of prosecution. 5.
In the circumstances, the instant petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution.
