JASWANT SINGH, J (ORAL) The petitioner is widow of deceased Ram Dev, who died in harness on 20.3.2011, while working as T-Mate, from a electric shock. Their son Ram Bhajan-respondent No.4 was given appointment as Lower Division Clerk on compassionate basis. Since respondent No.4 had stopped maintaining the petitioner in violation of the terms and conditions of his appointment and the Policy, the present writ petition was filed for either creating a charge on the salary of respondent No.4 or in the alternative granting compassionate appointment to the other LR of Ram Dev (since deceased) after withdrawing the appointment of respondent No.4.
During the course of hearing, the parties were referred before the Medication and Conciliation Centre of this Court. As per the report dated 18.7.2016 (Flag-A) of the Mediator, the parties have arrived at a written compromise whereby the son has inter
CWP No.4338 of 2016 #2# alia undertaken to reside with his mother/petitioner and other family members and properly maintain them.
In view of the aforesaid settlement, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the petition. Dismissed as withdrawn. The parties shall be bound by the terms of the settlement.
