(Oral) Though a title suit under Section 11 of the Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Act, 1961 filed by the petitioners is still pending and in view thereof, the protection granted by this Court in favour of the petitioner on 29.10.2014 shall continue to operate, yet the impugned eviction order has been passed by the Collector on 10.02.2016. Since the said order is appealable, we dispose of this writ petition relegating the petitioners to the alternative remedy of appeal. It is further directed that if the petitioners file an appeal within two weeks, their dispossession shall remain stayed till the appeal and/or Section 11 suit is decided in accordance with law, whichever is MOHINDER KUMAR 2016.03.16 11:05 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
