Petitioner has filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant disability pension to him as per Rules.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner had submitted representation (Annexure P-6) to respondent No.1 for redressal of his grievance but no action has been taken on the same so far.
Accordingly, without adverting to the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to dispose of the representation (Annexure P-6) moved by the petitioner expeditiously, in accordance with law, preferably within two months from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.
