(ORAL) Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, petitioner has approached this Court by way of present writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India. Notice of motion was issued and pursuant thereto, reply has been filed on behalf of the respondents.

After hearing learned counsel for the State and going through record of the case, particularly self contained representation dated 11.4.1962 (Annexure P-10), moved on behalf of the petitioner, having reference to old record, including letter dated 4.11.1890, present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Secretary, Department of General Administration (Freedom Fighter Wing), Punjab-respondent No.2 to look into the matter, Amit Kumar 2016.09.15 17:37 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

Civil Writ Petition No. 6510 of 2014 ensure that old revenue record is examined properly and thereafter, appropriate order is passed. It is so said because the claim putforth by the petitioner in his self contained representation (Annexure P-10) seems to be prima facie genuine. He is further directed to take appropriate action at an early date and in any case within a period of six months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

With the abovesaid observations made and directions issued, present writ petition stands disposed of.

Let a copy of this order, under the signatures of the Special Secretary, attached to this Bench, be given dasti to learned counsel for the State, for onward transmission to concerned authority, for compliance thereof.
