The instant petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus directing respondents No. 2 and 3 to produce the detenue namely Sonu (son of the petitioner), from the illegal custody of respondent No.4. 2.

Learned State counsel has submitted that a cancellation report has been prepared in the instant case; the alleged detenue at his own gone to Haridwar and has returned home.
