Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to promote the petitioner with retrospective effect from the date when his juniors were promoted and as is apparent from averments made in para 18 of the petition, a legal notice dated 26.04.2024 (Annexure P15) has been served upon the respondents, however, the same has not yet been responded as reflected in para 19.

In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, it would be in the interest of justice, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 26.04.2024 expeditiously, in accordance with law.
