The petitioner has invoked the jurisdiction of this Court in terms of Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking prayer by way of writ of mandamus for issuance of directions to respondents no. 1 to 3 to decide the representation dated 5.5.2019, Annexure P-8 for furnishing correct and positive report for issuance of passport to the petitioner and also to respondent no. 4 for issuing passport.

Upon hearing learned counsel of both the sides and on perusal of the records, the present petition stands disposed off with the directions to the official respondents no. 1 to 3 to consider representation dated 5.5.2019, Annexure P-8 and decide the same, moved by the petitioner, in accordance with law, by passing a speaking order preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
