(ORAL) In the present writ petition, the grievance which has been raised by the petitioner is that respondents No.5 and 6-Society should be directed to pay the gratuity amount to him for which he is entitled after he retired from service on 30.11.2014 alongwith interest. Counsel for respondents No.1 to 4 has raised a preliminary objection that the present writ petition is not maintainable against respondents No.5 and 6- Society as the petitioner has already a remedy available to him under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 for the redressal NARESH KUMAR 2019.04.02 09:37 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

Faced with this situation, counsel for the petitioner states that he be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition with a liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate authorities under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 for the redressal of his grievance.
