Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to respondent No.2-Director, Rural Development & Panchayat, Punjab to consider the prayer of petitioners and decide their complaint dated 08.01.2018 (Annexure P1) and legal notice dated 11.07.2018 (Annexure P3), which was got issued on the basis of complaint (Annexure P1).

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that as regard to the allegations levelled in the complaint (Annexure P1), inquiry was conducted by respondent No.4-Block Development & Panchayat Officer, Dera Bassi, District S.A.S. Nagar, but thereafter, no action has been taken.
