(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking direction to the official respondents to take appropriate action on the complaint dated 16.03.2017 (Annexure P-3) in accordance with the directions issued by this Court in CWP no. 21547 of 2011 (Annexure P-1) and policy dated 11.08.2017 (Annexure P-2) notified by the State of Punjab for regularization of marriage palaces in the State of Punjab. 2.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute that no representation had been made before respondent No.2, whereas, the complaint dated 16.03.2017 (Annexure P-3) had been addressed to the Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority, Amritsar. Accordingly, a prayer was made by learned counsel for the petitioner that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach respondent No.2 at the first instance.

Dismissed as withdrawn. It shall, however, be open to the petitioner to take recourse to the remedies as may be available to him, in accordance with law.
