The short prayer made by the petitioner is that he has filed ROR No.241 of 2011 (P-1) which is stated to be pending before the Financial Commissioner (Revenue). It is averred that though more than six years have passed but the revision petition has yet not been decided. [2] Having regard to the above-stated plea taken by the petitioner, but without expressing any views on the merits or on the question of maintainability of the revision petition, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Financial Commissioner (Revenue) to take up ROR No.241 of 2011 and decide the same in accordance with law, if it is still pending within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
