The present Writ Petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondent No.1-Financial Commissioner, Punjab, Chandigarh to decide the application for stay along with R.O.A. 87 of 2023 dated 28.09.2023 (Annexures P-6 and P-7) pending before him. 2.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant Writ Petition with liberty to the petitioner to pursue his stay application, which is stated to be pending before the concerned Financial Commissioner.

In view of the above, the instant Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
