(ORAL) The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.367, dated 18.07.2022 registered under Sections 15(b) of the NDPS Act, 1985 (with Section 27-A thereof added later on), at Police Station Sadar, Fatehabad. Learned counsel for the State on instructions, from SI Mahinder Singh, submits that pursuant to the order dated 31.08.2022 the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation. In view of the above facts, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 31.08.2022 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
