(ORAL) The instant petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for directing respondents No.1 to 3 for providing protection to the life and liberty of the petitioner, who apprehend danger at the hands of private respondents, further to investigate the matter in hand in fair and time bound manner. The petitioner submitted a representation (Annexure P-4) in this regard to the Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali on 07.10.2021.

At the asking of the Court, Mr. B.S. Sewak, Addl. A.G., Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3-State. 4.

After hearing Ld. Counsel for the both sides and without adverting to the merits of the petitioner's allegation at this stage, the present petition is disposed off with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali to examine the petitioner's representation dated RITTU 2021.10.12 18:10 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
