Learned counsel submits that the petitioner had applied for the post of Veterinary Surgeon and has obtained 54.34 marks and the last candidate has 54.45. As per the RTI information dated 09.07.2024 received by the petitioner, 2 posts are lying vacant out of 175 General Category in which he had applied and he being in merit is entitled to be appointed. 2.
Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2-Commission submits that the appointment letters to the petitioner and the one higher than him in merit, have not been issued on account of clarification which is awaited with regard to 4 candidates, as has been sought from the department. There are 2 more candidates, who could not furnish the NOC, for which time had been granted to them. Thus in all, the result of 5 candidates out of 6 such is kept in sealed cover. He, on instructions from Mr. Mukesh Kumar Ahuja, Secretary, HPSC, who is present in person, prays for a fortnight to completely resolve the issues with regard to the above.
