***** VIKAS BAHL, J (ORAL) This is a civil writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to reserve the seat of Sarpanch of village Algo Kalan, Tehsil Patti, District Tarn Taran to Scheduled Caste (Women). None has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner. On the last date of hearing also, none had appeared for the petitioner. In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to move an application for restoration of the present petition in case any cause survives. Pending misc. application, if any, shall stand automatically disposed of.
