By virtue of instant petition, preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ especially in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to reimburse the medical claim amounting to Rs.2,48,366/-, especially when ex-post facto sanction has already been granted in favour of the petitioner.

The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that though regarding medical reimbursement necessary sanction of Rs.2,48,366/- has already been granted vide order dated 10.12.2015 (P-1) but till date the amount has not been released to the petitioner.

In view of the above but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents SONIKA 2018.09.25 15:44 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CWP No.24070 OF 2018 --2-- to release the amount of medical reimbursement, in accordance with sanction order dated 10.12.2015 (P-1), within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case, the authority comes to the conclusion that petitioner is not entitled to the relief(s) claimed through instant petition, to pass a speaking order, stating the grounds, on which the amount of medical reimbursement cannot be release.
