Prayer in this writ petition is for directing respondent no.4 - Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Bhuna to take possession of the land in question in terms of order dated 04.04.2022 (Annexure P-1). It is not denied that respondents no.5 to 10 have preferred an appeal challenging order dated 04.04.2022, which is pending before the District Collector, Fatehabad though no interim order is stated to have been passed till date.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners, this writ petition is disposed of without any expression of opinion on the merits of the matter, by directing District Collector, Fatehabad, to decide the appeal challenging order dated 04.04.2022 expeditiously and positively within the next three months from receipt of certified copy of this order, after affording proper and due opportunity to all concerned persons.
