(Oral) The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the order dated 17.10.2017, Annexure P-8, whereby benefit of second ACP Grade granted to the petitioner, vide order dated 16.02.2011, has been withdrawn.

At the outset, learned State counsel contends that the second ACP Grade was not withdrawn from the petitioner during pendency of the petition, nor was the recovery effected from him. Now he has superannuated from service as well. The benefits already given to him cannot be recovered postretirement, and the matter has accordingly been rendered infructuous. 3.

Disposed of as such.
