Present writ petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of directions to respondent No.2-Deputy Commission, Karnal to take appropriate legal action against respondent No.5-Ranjit Singh, Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat of village Khora Kheri, Tehsil Gharaunda, District Karnal on the basis of legal notice dated 23.05.2018 (Annexure P4) and complaint dated 30.07.2018 (Annexure P6). Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that on legal notice (Annexure P4) having been issued in this regard, Director, Development & Panchayat, Haryana vide letter dated 19.06.2018 (Annexure P5) asked respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner, Karnal to look into the allegations and take required action within 30 days. Despite order having been passed on 19.06.2018 and that same being a time bound order, no action has been taken as yet.

In view of above, present writ petition stands disposed of with the directions to respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner, Karnal to look into complaint dated 30.07.2018 (Annexure P6) and take required action thereon expeditiously and preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
