The only relief that the petitioners seek is a direction to the respondent-authorities to consider their application under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894.
The concerned respondents are directed to consider the application in accordance with law within eight weeks of the service of a copy of this order upon them. It is clarified that all the issues including as to whether the application was made and the maintainability thereof are kept open.
Writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
