Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for directing the respondents for removal of disparity of pay of the petitioner by granting pay scale of Rs. 1030034800+3200 Grade Pay, as he was holding equated post(s) with cluster of other posts since the year 1978, i.e. 2nd to 5th Pay Commissions. At the outset, learned counsel, on instructions from petitioner, submits that he does not want to pursue the present petition any further; thus he seeks permission to withdraw the petition. Permitted to do so.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
