SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Article 226 of the Constitution for issuance of directions to the official respondent Nos.2 to 4 to take legal action on the detailed representations dated 17.09.2024 (P.1), dated 02.04.2025 (P.2) and dated 04.06.2025 (P.3) filed for protecting the life and personal liberty of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioners confines his prayer that he will be satisfied in case direction be issued to respondent No.3 to decide the representations dated 17.09.2024 (P.1), within a time bound manner. Without adverting to the merits of the case and in view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioners, respondent No.3Commissioner of Police, District Jalandhar is directed to look into the representation dated dated 17.09.2024 (P.1)and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order. The order so passed in the said representation shall be communicated to the petitioners within a period of one week thereafter. Disposed of in the above said terms.
