This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus to command the respondents to decide the representation made by the petitioners in the light of noise nuisance and sound pollution activities in the residential area caused by way of running the Diesel Engine Flour Mills and Mini Sheller in the thickly populated area spreading diseases. A further mandamus has been claimed to command the respondents to close/shut down the illegal activities of respondents No. 7 and 8 who are running Engine Flour Mill and Mini Sheller.

The grievance being raised by the petitioners before this Court can be better addressed by the Pollution Control Board. In such circumstances, the writ petition is dismissed with liberty to approach the Pollution Control Board with appropriate application with respect to the grievances.
