***** VIKAS BAHL, J (ORAL) This is a civil writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to complete the work of laying underground pipelines and further prayer has been made for quashing the order dated 10.11.2017 (Annexure P-10) passed by respondent No.2 whereby the status quo order has been granted in the appeal against the order dated 24.06.2014 passed by respondent No.3.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from Iqbal Singh, Ziledar, has submitted that in the present case, challenge is to an interim order passed in the appeal, whereas the main appeal itself has been decided and thus, the present petition has become infructuous.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
