(oral) The petitioner is an Ex-President of the District Bar Association, Sonepat, who has filed this petition for seeking a mandamus directing the respondents to restore his membership of the Bar Association and enroll him as a voter in the forthcoming Bar Association Elections.
Shorn of unnecessary details, the parties have entered into an oral settlement before this Court, as per which the petitioner shall deposit a sum of ` 5,00,000/- with the Bar Association, Sonepat for the settlement of all pending issues though without admitting the allegations made against him. CWP-6876-2014 -2In view thereof the present petition is hereby disposed of directing the respondent Bar Association, Sonepat to enroll the petitioner as a member of the Bar Association, as soon as the petitioner deposits ` 5,00,000/- with the Bar Association, Sonepat by way of a demand draft, against a receipt and would also be included in the list of voters for the ensuing elections of the Bar Association, Sonepat. Needless to mention that the petitioner would also be eligible to contest the election for the post of President or any other post of the Bar Association. The said amount shall be deposited on 6.11.2015.
