The petitioners are residents of village Ballu, Block Nissing, Tehsil & District Karnal. The election of the Gram Panchayat of their village is scheduled to be held on 17.01.2016. The petitioners, at this belated stage, have chosen to approach this Court questioning wardbandi of their village as according to them, the procedure contemplated under Rule 4 of the Haryana Panchayati Raj Election Rules, 1994 has not been followed. (2)
In our considered view, it is too late to entertain this kind of objections at this stage.

The writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to pursue their cause before the authorities who are directed to take an appropriate decision, may be after the Gram Panchayat elections are held.
