The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking quashing of notification No.122/PS/TC/2026 dated 02.01.2026 whereby respondent No.2-Transport Commissioner, Haryana has imposed a pre-condition of paying challan/outstanding dues for release of vehicle. He is further seeking setting aside of challans dated 22.04.2025, 11.07.2025, 14.10.2025 and 20.05.2026 and direction to respondent No.3-District Transport officer-cum-Secretary, Regional Transport Authority to release his vehicle. 2.

The petitioner is a registered owner of goods vehicle bearing No.HR-38-AJ-9700 which was challaned on 22.04.2025, 11.07.2025, 14.10.2025 and 20.05.2026 by Transport Authorities. His vehicle has been impounded. He approached Regional Transport Authority, Gurugram seeking release of his vehicle which refused to release the vehicle citing notification dated 02.01.2026.

Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that instant petition may be disposed of in terms of order dated 12.03.2026 passed by this Court in CWP No.5962 of 2026, Kaviraj v. State of Haryana and Others. 4.

In the wake of statement of both sides, the petition stands disposed of in terms of aforesaid order.
