Mr.Harkesh Manuja,Addl.AG Punjab for respondent no.1 Mr.Anil Sharma,Advocate for respondent no.2 Jaswant Singh,J(Oral) Petitioner claims himself to be a Safai Sewak since 1.4.1998 in the employment of respondent no.2-Municipal Corporation,Amritsar. His grievance is that his services have not been regularised inspite of having worked on daily wage basis for more than a decade. Upon notice a reply has been filed by respondent no.2Municipal Corporation,Amritsar wherein on affidavit it has been stated that the petitioner was engaged as a Sewer Man on 20.9.2008 under a scheme floated by Mohalla Sudhar Society. Employment with the respondent Corporation is specifically denied.
At the time of hearing in the light of stand of respondents, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for permission to withdraw the present petitioner to enable his client to seek his remedy in accordance with law.
