Present writ petition is for quashing of impugned order/letters No. 1443 dated 17.07.2018 (Annexure P13) and No. 1975 dated 23.08.2018 (Annexure P15).

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that against the aforesaid orders, appeal has been filed before the competent authority i.e. respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner-cum-Collector, Panipat. Learned counsel further contended that no action is being taken on the appeal. Though the Appellate Authority fixed certain dates, but no action has been taken on the said dates.

In view of above, present writ petition stands disposed of with the directions to respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner-cum-Collector, Panipat to look into and decide the appeal having been filed by the petitioner expeditiously and preferably by the next date fixed by the Appellate Authority. If, for any reason, the Appellate Authority is unable to decide the appeal, the same be decided expeditiously by giving short dates within a period of two months.
