**** AJAY KUMAR MITTAL, J. (Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus, for directing respondent No.2-SIOCM Limited to issue sale certificate in pursuance to the successful auction conducted by it on 11.06.2018 in favour of the petitioner, being the only sole-bidder. Further, a writ of Certiorari, has been sought for quashing the reply dated 17.08.2018 (Annexure P-8) sent by respondent No.2, wherein, respondent No.2 has stated that it has unilaterally scrapped the public auction conducted on 11.06.2018. Petitioner has also prayed for issuing direction to respondent No.1-RBI to take action against respondent No.2 - SICOM Limited. 2.
After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to take recourse to the alternative remedies as may be available to it, in accordance with law.
