This is an application filed by the petitioner for placing on record documents Annexure A-1 to A-3.

In the instant petition, prayer is made for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus seeking direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT) under the supervision of a Senior Police Officer of the State to enquire into the petitioner's complaint (Annexure P-26).

 -2Learned counsel for the State submits that the relief claimed by the petitioner cannot be granted, as the complaint of the petitioner has already been examined and the enquiry reports are on record as Annexure P-23 and P-27.

Faced with the above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though he does not press for his prayer of mandamus, which has been rendered infructuous, but liberty be granted to the petitioner to challenge the enquiry reports before the appropriate forum. In view of the above, the petition is dismissed as having become infructuous, with liberty aforesaid.
