NAMIT KUMAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the Memorandum of Charges dated 26.10.2020 (Annexure P-3), issued by respondent No.2, four days before the superannuation, vide which the petitioner has been alleged to be guilty of causing financial loss of Rs.6,22,959/- on account of negligence and on account of deductions made by the FCI for moisture cut on account of delivery of Wheat Crop for the year 2014-15 stored at Mehal Bukhari Open Plinths, Ajnala, District Amritsar and Gujja Peer Godowans, Ajnala.

CWP No.20343 of 2020 (O&M) Short reply on behalf of the respondents has been filed in the Court, which is taken on record.
According to the reply, the issue involved in the present writ petition has already been decided by this Court in CWP No.19457 of 2023 and other connected cases, titled as "Satish Kumar and another vs Ministry of Consumer Affairs and others", decided on 24.05.2024, wherein it has been held that writ petition against the showcause notice/charge-sheet is not maintainable.
