On August 17, 2017, this Court had directed the Consolidation Officer, Sangrur, to decide the Claim Petition which had been filed by the private respondents within a period of two months. [2] We are informed that in compliance thereto the Consolidation Officer has decided the Claim Petition.

[3] It was further noticed that the eviction petition filed by the Gram Panchayat against the private respondents had been adjourned sine die by the Collector due to pendency of the Claim Petition before the Consolidation Officer. Since the said Claim Petition has been now decided, the instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2Meenu 2017.11.01 15:43 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh
