Petitioners have preferred this writ petition to direct the respondents to grant them benefit of Contributory Pension Scheme dated 12.12.2006 with effect from the appointment of the petitioners and to deposit the requisite amount towards Contributory Pension Scheme. In support of his contention, petitioners have relied upon judgment passed in CWP No. 22416 of 2014 titled as Gurjeet Singh & ors. decided on 03.11.2014.

Writ petition is disposed of with the direction that the concerned authorities shall consider case of the petitioners in light of order passed in Gurjeet Singh's case (supra) and take a decision at the earliest, in any case not later than one month. In case there is any inordinate delay, petitioners shall be entitled to seek appropriate remedy.
