* * * * RAVI SHANKER JHA, C.J. (ORAL) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner assailing the award of contract for crop insurance in respect of cluster II of certain Districts in the State of Haryana under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY).

Though several issues regarding change of terms of the bid document were raised, learned Advocate General, Haryana, on seeking instructions, submits that the State has decided to go in for re-negotiation in the entire matter and while doing so would take into consideration all the objections raised by the petitioner including confining re-negotiations or negotiations with L-1 bidders and other issues raised by the petitioner and would also take into consideration the objections, if any, of the other bidders and the instructions and directions issued by the Government of India (GoI) from time to time. He points out that, at this stage, the premium collected from the farmers is being retained and would be disbursed to the successful bidders only after 15.08.2023 and, therefore, no prejudice would be caused to the AMODH SHARMA 2023.08.04 11:02 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgement
