(ORAL) The present petition was filed under 482 Cr.P.C. assailing the order dated 22nd of September, 2016 whereby the petitioner was declared as Proclaimed Offender in FIR No.283 dated 27.08.2011, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 323, 379-B, 148, 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959, at Police Station Civil Lines, District Amritsar.
Ld. State Counsel submits that the petitioner has already surrendered and the said fact is also admitted by counsel for the petitioner. In view of aforesaid position, the present petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
