On 05.03.2024, the following order was passed by this Court:- As per State Counsel, the petitioner joined Punjab Armed Police Cadre on 30.03.1984 as constable. He was promoted to the post of Head Constable on 12.07.1990. He was further promoted to the post of ASI on 31.01.2001 and post of Sub Inspector on 22.11.2002. The petitioner at the time of his promotion to the post of Sub Inspector was with Border Range on deputation. The petitioner came back to his parent cadre on 22.08.2006 and retired on 31.01.2019.
Mr. Shivam Bansal, Advocate seeks last opportunity to get instructions from his client. Adjourned to 24.04.2024.

Mr. Aman Dhir, DAG, Punjab, submits that as per his instructions, had petitioner been transferred to District Cadre he would have retired as Sub Inspector whereas he has retired from PAP as Inspector, thus, no prejudice has been caused to him.
