Petitioner has sought a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of order dated 13.11.2020, Annexure P-1, whereby his plea for release on parole has been rejected. He has, vehemently, submitted that he has to attend two marriages i.e. one of his sister's son and another of his real niece. According to him, his presence at both the marriages is required as certain rituals have to be performed by him.

Prayer has been opposed by learned State counsel. He submits that keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, the order passed by the authority is inconsonance with law. We find substance in the plea of learned State counsel.
