Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner had relations with respondent No.6, which continued for quite long time. He had been giving her jewellery and cash as well. Now, she is posing threat to his life and liberty and in this regard, he has moved representation (Annexure P-2) to Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar. Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar to look into the grievance of petitioner regarding threat to his life and liberty by respondent No.6, verify the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to the petitioner from any action taken in any civil, criminal or any other proceedings initiated/pending against him in accordance with law.
