This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to act as per law in pursuance to the FIR No.73 dated 06.03.2018 under Section 379 IPC registered at Police Station Sadar Ludhiana, District Ludhiana. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that on 23.12.2017, 11 trees were cut by accused persons from cremation ground and had taken away those trees. He further submits that the FIR in this regard was registered on 06.03.2018 under Section 379 IPC. A perusal of the FIR reveals that the application dated 06.03.2017 was given by Harvinder Kaur (Authorized Sarpanch Gram Panchayat Kheri Block) wherein it was clearly mentioned that unknown persons have taken away the trees. Once the cognizance is already taken and the same is being looked into, therefore, this Court does not find any reason to invoke the inherent powers under Section 482 Cr.P.C.
