Short reply filed on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 today in Court is taken on record. Para No.1 thereof reads as under:- "1.
That the case of rejection of the petitioner's Ph.D Thesis as conveyed vide the impugned order dated 3.12.2014 (Annexure P9) pursuant to the earlier decision of the Syndicate of the respondent No.1-University taken vide para No. 56 of the proceedings of its meeting dated 14.10.2014 has been reconsidered vide para No. 60 of the proceedings of the Syndicate's meeting dated 28.8.2015, DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2015.09.16 10:31 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
Civil Writ Petition No. 5871 of 2015 thereby recalling its said earlier decision (in para No.56 of its meeting dated 14.10.2014) and deciding that the same be reviewed by a consideration of the negative report of the foreign examiner on the Ph.D Thesis of the petitioner (Ms. Yashika Walia) now by a Committee of five members as per procedure laid down in para 9(d)(i) to 9(d)(iv) of the University's Ph.D. Ordinances (Annexure P10). Resultantly, the impugned order dated 3.12.2014 (Annexure P9) stands recalled."
In view of the stand taken by the University, the Committee shall review the consideration of the negative report within a period of four weeks from today. The said decision be communicated to the petitioner within a period of one week thereafter. It will be open to the petitioner to challenge the said order if it is adverse against her. Petition stands disposed of.
