(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition is for directing the respondents No.4 and 5 to ensure free and fair counting for the General Elections to Municipal Council, Rajpura, District Patiala, to be held on 29.05.2026. A further prayer has been made for issuance of direction to the respondents to appoint an Independent Observer on the date of the counting of votes i.e. on 29.05.2026, for the General Elections to the Municipal Council, Rajpura, District Patiala.
